Specializing in the repair of vintage Japanese guitars, DeMont has made a name both locally and world-wide as an expert repair shop as well as small manufacturer of musical-related products[cite: 1]. There are several brands attached to the DeMont name, including Guyatone, Kent, Mono-Plak & Ukulele Threads[cite: 1].

DeMont MFG LLC was acquired by DeMont Guitars in 2016, and now operates under one umbrella company: DeMont Guitars LLC[cite: 1].

Currently, products are mainly manufactured in Oswego, IL USA from local material and lumber[cite: 1]. International partnerships also allow for production and marketing all over the globe[cite: 1].
